After just a few weeks of song-and-dancing my way through rehearsal, I can honestly say that I’m enjoying myself as much (or more!) as I have in any my previous stage experiences. But this is my first time performing in a British panto. Preparing for this winter-themed role has required me to pull my full bag of acting tricks out of holiday storage. In this genre, not only do we dance, sing, and regale the audience with poignant comic hijinks, but we must also be true to the theme, spirit, and meaning of the story we tell. This is an ambitiously tall order for any cast’s Christmas wish list!

Because this is a holiday panto, it means we’re upping the stakes to keep you in the spirit and in stitches. We are going to lift you back in the saddle again for the holly season with a pop-rock, hair-band tribute to Dickens’ seminal holiday tale. Ohhh-yeah! You’ll get to watch the Cratchit family pour some sugar on this story in an irresistible, sticky-sweet way. Devotees of Tiny Tim’s God-bless-us-everyone storyline will fall in love all over again with that courageous little sweet child of mine.

Come on out and set a positive pan-tone for your upcoming holidays.
