Directions to West Sacramento Community Center

 

From San Francisco  
Take I-80 east to U.S. 50. Take the Jefferson Boulevard exit. Stay right.   At the signal, turn left onto Jefferson Boulevard.  Proceed north to West Capitol Avenue.   Turn right on West Capitol.   Community Center will be on your right.

 

From Sacramento
Take U.S. 50 west to the Jefferson Boulevard exit.   Stay left.   At the signal,  turn right on Jefferson Boulevard.   Proceed north to West Capitol Avenue.   Turn right on West Capitol.   Community Center will be on your right.

 

From Redding
Take I-5 south to I-80 west.   Proceed west on I-80 to the U.S. 50 interchange.   Follow the signs for eastbound U.S. Highway 50.   Take the Jefferson Boulevard exit.   Stay right.   At the signal, turn left onto Jefferson Boulevard.  Proceed north to West Capitol Avenue.   Turn right on West Capitol.   Community Center will be on your right. . 

 

From Los Angeles
Take I-5 north.   Follow the signs for I-80/U.S. 50 west.   From U.S. 50, take the Jefferson Boulevard exit.   Turn right on Jefferson Boulevard.   Proceed north to West Capitol Avenue.   Turn right on West Capitol.  Community Center will be on your right.

 

 

Where Do I Park?

 

1	Lot A - Students & Faculty may park in Lot A with a Los Rios Community College District Parking Permit. RESTRICTIONS in place: M-TH 7am – 11pm; Fri 7am – 5 pm
2	Library customers may park for up to 45 minutes in the Library Customer Parking area. IF YOU NEED TO STAY IN THE LIBRARY LONGER, you may obtain a dashboard permit from Library staff. RESTRICTIONS in place: M-F 10am – 8pm
3	Joint Use Parking Area - Available to anyone for the posted time limits. Most parking has a 3-hour limit. There are a few exceptions. Please read the signs! RESTRICTIONS in place: M-F 6am – 6pm
4	Two hour street parking on Merkley and West Capitol Avenues. There are a few exceptions. Please read the signs! RESTRICTIONS in place: M-F 8am – 6pm
5	Motorcycle/Scooter parking area is unrestricted. Access from Merkley Avenue.
6	West Capitol Public Parking Lot has unrestricted parking for public (access from eastbound West Capitol Avenue).
7a	East end of City Hall parking lot will be available for an unlimited amount of time for those displaying a valid Senior Center parking permit and to the general public with a 3-hour limit beginning on February 14th. Other areas in the City Hall lot have time and user restrictions. Please read the signs!
7b	Main City Hall parking lot is available for an unlimited amount of time after 5 pm during the week and all day on the weekends.
8	Parking in retail lots - Many establishments have signs restricting all or some of the lot for customer parking. Read the signs, and, even if not posted, try to avoid prime customer parking in front of a business.
