Synopsis
“I’ll exhibit a bill in Parliament for the putting down of men!”
Shakespeare’s only play to deal exclusively with contemporary English life and written at Queen Elizabeth I’s request (to see “Falstaff in love”). Falstaff is down on his luck and decides to gain some coin by seducing two worthy women of Windsor. His plans go comically awry due to his lack of consideration of the wisdom, worthiness, and wiliness of those wives. This Studio production will feature members of the Sacramento City College Theatre and Film faculty in some of the major roles. |
