Cast list

Rehearsals begin in early August. Rehearsals are usually Mon - Thu. evenings, Sat. afternoons and sometimes Sunday evenings. There may be a few Friday night rehearsals.

Performance Dates: Late September through mid October

All performances at California Stage, 25th and R Street.

 

Auditions will be held in Temp 8 on the Sac City College Campus. The Temps are located on 12th Avenue by the brand new Art building before you get to the main parking lot.

 

Auditions

• Saturday, July 31, 1 - 4pm & Monday, Aug. 2, 7pm
• Thursday, Aug. 5, 7pm Callbacks only, if needed
• Further auditions may be held if need demands

All auditions consist of cold readings, possibly some movement. Please bring a headshot photo, resume and schedule (conflicts).

Mr. Halloway – 30 – 60, Will’s Dad, Librarian, feeling “his age”
Mrs. Halloway – 30 – 50, Will’s Mom, housewife *
Jim’s Mom – 30 – 50, housewife*
Mr. Dark – 30 – 70, Carnival Owner, Illustrated Man
Mr. Cooger – 30 – 50, Carnie, becomes “Robert” Miss Foley’s nephew
Lightning Rod Salesman – 30 – 60, traveling salesman*
Miss Foley – 20 – 35 – school teacher
Mr./Mrs. Tetley – 30 – 60, Cigar shop owner*
Mr./Mrs. Crosetti – 30 – 60, Barber shop owner*
Ice woman – any age – Side show attraction*
